① Accessing CCaaS

Accessing CCaaS

Overview This video will provide an overview of accessing Xima CCaaS both through our HTML UI and the Admin Portal desktop application. Written instructions are included below

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Xima CCaaS with the URL that has been provided (e.g., example.xima.cloud)
  2. At the long screen, enter the Username and Password and hit Login
    • If you were not given a Username or Password try the following
      • Username: Administrator
      • Password: password

If that does not work, please reach out to Xima Software support to have the credentials provided to you, or to have them reset.

  3. To perform some of the forthcoming tasks for configuration, you will need to download and install the desktop administrator tool
    1. To do so, select the icon on the left for the Desktop Client
      • The icon will appear as a box with an arrow pointing up and diagonally to the right
  4. Xima CCaaS will now check your system to see if the desktop client has already been installed
    • If it has, the desktop client will open, and you can log in and proceed as normal
    • If it has not, you will be prompted to select the correct download for your system
  5. After the desktop client has been downloaded, simply follow the setup wizard prompts
    1. During the installation, if you are asked to enter a URL, simply enter the same URL that you used to access the Xima CCaaS HTML interface
  6. Once the Desktop Client setup is complete, return to the Xima CCaaS HTML interface again and select the Desktop Client option from the left-hand side once more
    • Depending on your browser, you may be prompted to allow access to the external software
      • We recommend selecting “Always Allow”.
  7. Now that you have installed and configured the Desktop Client admin tool, you may access it through the HTML interface, or you may access it through the program installed on your desktop
  8. As we go through the remaining steps of configuration, we recommend keeping both the HTML interface and the Desktop Client admin tool open
